Creating the #1 Moscato d’Asti in America

The Story

Prestige Beverage Group introduced Risata, with its iconic Moscato d’Asti, in 2008. By the year 2010, the Moscato craze had taken off and many leading wine trademarks added a Moscato.

Risata continued to focus on quality sourcing, innovation, and its premium flavor profile, allowing Risata to rise above all other brands in the Moscato category.

SVP of Sales at Prestige Beverage Group

"Prestige was one of the first in the country to see the potential for Moscato d’Asti more than 20 years ago. As a result, we created Risata in 2007 and built it overtime state by state until we became #1 Moscato d’Asti in the United States.”
What We Did

Risata was developed entirely in house at Prestige Beverage Group – from packaging, point of sale, sourcing, importation, and sales execution.

The brand differentiates itself from the competition by using premium varietals from elevated vineyards. The sole mission of Risata is to be the highest quality, best tasting semi-sweet wine on the market.

Utilizing a strong distributor network and national chain team, Risata continues to grow aggressively. The brand is projected to top 1 million cases in 2021.
